LESS PLASTIC IN FOOD PACKAGING: 89% OF ITALIANS WANT IT
This is the message from a report published by the Waste Watcher Observatory on domestic food waste, and on purchasing habits, management and use of food, created in collaboration with the University of Bologna on the basis of IPSOS data.
The news, published on the occasion of the National Food Waste Prevention Day, was reported by various newspapers including Il Secolo XIX (Genoa’s local daily newspaper).
89% of Italians favour the reduction of plastic in food packaging

And the number of those who have passed from words to deeds has increased: “91% of Italians – explains the research – buy farm products that improve animal welfare and 92% declare that they are sensitive to the issue of urban waste separation.” […]
